Position Summary:

As a Senior Key Account Manager at Tenneco, you will lead strategic account management initiatives for our most critical automotive clients. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of driving long-term growth, mentoring account teams, and influencing executive-level decisions. You will develop and execute global strategies, ensure profitability, and strengthen Tenneco’s position as a trusted partner in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Drive global account strategies and multi-year growth plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

• Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior account managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Executive Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives at client organizations.

• Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, EBITDA, and market share targets.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver client success.

• Financial Management: Oversee pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and risk mitigation plans.

• Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations for global agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

• Reporting: Present performance metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive account management, with global account exposure.

• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence executive-level decisions.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and financial acumen.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
