This role is an excellent opportunity to join us as an Industrial Engineer in our Tenneco Braking Business Unit in Mondovi, Italy. 

 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate, together with the plant NPI and Quality department, in the feasibility analysis of customer drawings within our process;
  • Manage the software for defining and updating the "bill of materials" and the related "work cycles."
  • Coordinate the Production Engineering team, taking care of the growth of collaborators.
  • Collaborate with the NPI Team in FMEA projects and drafting and updating the same.
  • Supervise marking and packaging specifications.
  • Coordinate the processing of customer drawings and the transfer to the Federal-Mogul standard format;
  • Be responsible for registering and archiving the drawings of the production equipment of the plant layout, ensuring systematic updating.
  • Coordinate the team executing the production times analysis and drafting and updating working methods.
  • As part of the acquisition of new programs, you are responsible for process cost defining, tooling, and any investments in new production equipment. In addition, you are responsible for the whole flow, from the feasibility analysis to the issue of REQs / POs, from the management of the supplier concerning the expected timescales up to the installation of the equipment /new systems and the related final equipment commissioning.

 

What will make you successful

  • Master's degree in Engineering or similar;
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the automotive sector;
  • Experience with automotive processes, preferably Disk Brake Pads process experience:
  • English fluent is mandatory;
  • MS Office, Autocad, Production Database;
  • Team working attitude, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
