We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer. This position will have responsibility for developing steering and suspension components.

  • Coordination of data collection from original equipment products
  • Communication with suppliers pertaining to the requirements and design
  • Review of designs to verify compliance with DRiV specifications
  • Monitoring the efficiencies of our process and suppliers.
  • Coordination of engineering changes related to quality
  • Resourcing, product improvement and maintenance of product specifications
  • This position may be considered as a developmental role for a future leader for the company.


EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field



  • Preferred applicants will have experience gained from full-time employment as an engineer
  • Engineering internship, co-op, or student design competition i.e. FSAE, Solar Car, Baja SAE, HPV, or Rover Design
  • Preferred applicants will have some supervisory experience or training
  • Proficiency with Excel; 2D CAD proficiency
  • Basic familiarity with automotive service and repair
  • Good interpersonal and technical skills are required to coordinate activities between multiple departments, remote facilities and suppliers
  • Proficiency in planning
  • Scheduling, tracking project timelines, and communicating the status of projects to management levels
  • Five+ years of experience managing design projects in the automotive or related design/engineering discipline
  • Experience with NX CAD and Team-center
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • FEA experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining databases
  • Knowledge and experience in selection or use of ferrous metals, casting, elastomers, forging, plating, coating, plastics, and machining processes
  • Leadership desire and potential including public speaking, people management, budget management and strategic planning.
