Customer Service Representative

PAY GRADE: Salaried

JOB SCOPE:

Interface with assigned customers and plant operations and support functions to ensure on-time delivery of customer requirements. Work with assigned customers to ensure system data accuracy and compliance with all customer and plant requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Daily communication with customers on requirements, fulfillment, priorities
• Review and maintain EDI data on assigned customers.
• Update customer websites for shipment and requirement acknowledgements
• Maintain packaging standards documentation for assigned customers
• Production scheduling of shop orders for assigned customers’ requirements
• Ensure the orderly introduction and phase out of part numbers for assigned customers
• Regularly identify and implement cost reductions, waste elimination, process improvements
• Maintain open communications with team and ensure timely resolution to issues
• Other duties as may be assigned

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. B.S. Degree in Business Administration, APICS & NAPM certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience
• Strong interpersonal skills:
  • must have excellent communication skills, use tact and diplomacy when communicating with any  level of the organization, internal or external
• Experience in ERP systems
• Microsoft Office familiarity  (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to negotiate requirements with customers
