Senior CAE Engineer

We are seeking an experienced CAE Engineer to join our Engineering team in Jönköping, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in simulation, combined with design experience. You will work globally in cross-functional project teams to develop, analyze, and optimize designs using advanced CAD- and CAE tools.

If you have a background in the automotive industry, that’s a plus! We are looking for a versatile engineer who can bring diverse skills and perspectives to our team and provide support needed outside their own function.

Our Engineering Site, focuses on semi-active suspension controlled by an electronic valve. The semi-active shock absorber can adapt its behavior during the compression and rebound cycles in real time, resulting in a premium ride experience controlled by the driver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D simulations using ANSYS Fluent and Mechanical.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS Mechanical.
• Perform 1D CFD simulation using AMESIM.
• Perform 2D and 3D modelling in CATIA V5 and SAP (PLM software).
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on analysis results.
• Stay updated with the latest CAE technologies and methodologies.
• Work in cross-functional project teams delivering high-quality products for global automotive leaders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in simulation, preferably with ANSYS or AMESim.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Experience in automotive industry standards and practices desired.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or MATLAB desired.
