Position Summary
Designation: Deputy Manager - HR
Location: Hosur
Experience: 10 -14 years
Job Type: Full-Time / Regular
Qualification – Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Key Responsibilities: The position of Deputy Manager HR is responsible for all the plant related HR activities including but not limited to Talent management, Recruitment, Reward and recognition, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, IATF, IMS and Customer Audits.
Job Description:
- Act as strategic partner with the business stake holders to achieve business goals.
- Deal with complex sensitive day to day people management issues Work towards employer of choice by identifying talent drivers.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to drive business objective on people front
- Support develops and coach people managers to manage employee relation using statutory law policies and procedures.
- Act as an interface between the Manager HR and the business while leading all change management for the business on HR front.
- Provide solutions for business on HR administrative tasks Handle vendor relations for HR related requirements.
- Work closely with HR Manager to design HR strategy as per identified business goals.
- Provide guidance and direction on people issues to Business Line Leaders, establishing action plans which focus on opportunities to deliver solutions that add value and mitigate risk.
- Responsible for on time statutory compliances under various applicable acts.
- Conduct Focus groups and address the employee issues. Promote HR systems and act as an ambassador for company while targeting higher talent retention.
- Monitor exit interviews, analyze the trend and design people plan.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Partners with the legal department as needed/required on employee issues, reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Managing end-to-end hiring processes for plant positions.
- Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Identifies training needs for business and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
- Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Driving initiatives for workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development.
- Implementing programs to motivate and retain employees.
- Designing and executing engagement activities to foster a positive work culture.
- Managing plant-related HR audits and ensuring adherence to statutory and organizational policies.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Working exposure within SuccessFactors would be an added advantage.
- Problem-solving attitude with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
