Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive regional supply chain strategies aligned with Monroe Ride Solutions’ business goals and the demands of the automotive sector in the EMEA region.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in a multicultural environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional leadership teams to share best practices and drive strategic initiatives across the automotive supply chain.

 

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution for automotive components and systems.
  • Approve supply and demand calculations and evaluate complex analyses to optimize supply chain performance for Monroe Ride Solutions’ product portfolio.
  • Ensure effective integration of supply chain activities with other business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

 

Performance Management

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements specific to the automotive industry.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, including financial and operational metrics relevant to EMEA operations.

 

Risk and Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier risks and logistics disruptions, to ensure business continuity in the automotive sector.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain process.

 

Supplier and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of automotive materials and services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including OEMs and aftermarket partners, to ensure alignment and effective execution of supply chain strategies.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain sustainability and reduce environmental impact, supporting Monroe Ride Solutions’ commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.
  • Lead change management efforts to adopt new processes, systems, and technologies for improved supply chain performance in the automotive industry.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within supply chain management, preferably at a regional or global level in the automotive industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies relevant to automotive manufacturing and distribution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with experience in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (SAP).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across the EMEA region.
