Job Summary:

 

Sr. Manager- Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for the overall financial management, including cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This strategic role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to drive performance and profitability.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

Education:

Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.

MBA in Finance preferred

 

Experience:

10–15 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business finance.

Strong exposure to manufacturing industry; auto parts manufacturing experience highly desirable. And a working experience of with global stakeholders and Senior Management is a must.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • ERP systems (SAP) and BI tools (Power BI) experience preferred.
  • Hyperion/One Stream Reporting

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting, Monthly/quarterly forecasting and weekly flash reporting processes for all business units. Develop rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to support decision-making. Align financial plans with production schedules, capacity utilization, and sales forecasts.

 

2. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards. Analyze cost structures, margins, and profitability by product line, plant, and customer. Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and working capital.

 

3. Strategic Business Support: Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory, production costs, and capacity planning. Support pricing decisions, cost reduction initiatives, and capital investment evaluations (CapEx ROI). Drive financial modeling for new product launches and customer programs.

 

4. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies. Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

 

5. Systems & Process Improvement: Enhance FP&A processes through automation and advanced analytics tools (ERP, BI dashboards). Implement best practices for data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
