LV Ignition Sales Account Manager Job Descriptions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•          Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts.

•          Support North America–based OEM accounts from India, including required U.S. travel and off-hours communication to accommodate time zone differences.

•          Manage customer portals and ensure timely, accurate communication of customer requirements, changes, and status updates.

•          Review account performance (revenue, margin, growth, and risk) and align weekly priorities with internal stakeholders.

•          Prepare and issue customer quotations, contracts, and commercial agreements (pricing, terms, and change requests) in accordance with internal approval requirements.

•          Lead new product and growth opportunities by building business cases, coordinating internal stakeholders, and driving customer alignment through launch.

•          Confirm project feasibility with manufacturing plants (cost, capacity, quality, and capability) and document constraints, risks, and mitigation actions.

•          Drive commercial recovery actions (e.g., debits/credits, claims, and pricing adjustments) to protect and improve account profitability.

•          Manage relationships with customer Engineering, Materials, and Purchasing teams and coordinate internal support for trials, quality actions, and supply recovery.

•          Support product and marketing strategies by developing and delivering customer-facing presentations and value propositions.

•          Provide recurring reports to Sales Support (cadence and format as defined) covering customer interactions, program status, pricing actions, awards, risks, and wins/losses.

•          Maintain accurate records in designated systems of record for customer requirements, contracts, pricing history, and key communications, in coordination with Sales Support.
