The EHS Coordinator assists Environmental, Health & Safety at the site, aligning plant strategic goals to EHS requirements. This role supports the EHS Manager to deliver on objectives, compliance, and safety improvements. The safety of our employees is our No 1 priority!

PURPOSE: |

JOB REQUIREMENTS: |
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- Internship or co-op experience in EHS within a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, EGLE, and MIOSHA regulations.
- Experience with incident reporting, safety audits, or training coordination is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, technical manuals, and company policies.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting reports and training materials.
- Effective verbal communication for presenting safety topics and engaging with diverse teams.
Other Skills and abilities:
- Capable of interpreting regulatory requirements and applying them to manufacturing operations
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing conditions
- Sound judgment in identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with EHS management systems or incident tracking software preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups during safety meetings or training sessions
- Certifications (preferred but not required):
- OSHA 10/40 Hour
- First Aid/CPR
- HAZWOPER
- GSP
- RCRA
