JOB DUTIES:                                       Design, develop, and validate mechatronic systems for 12 and 24 VDC emissions controls system-level architecture, including hardware and software to implement EURO7 / CN7 / EPA-CARB L3 emission standards. Support product design and packaging of emission system components, including exhaust burner, roots air blower, fuel pump, ignition coil pack, fuel nozzle / injector, fuel lines and production harness layout. Support validation testing for endurance, freeze and thaw, NVH, Ingress protection, drop testing, salt and chemical spray, accelerated corrosion testing, EOL simulation, and thermal cycling. Perform Hardware-in-loop testing using dSpace SCALEXIO: Configuration, Control and Automation Desks. Implement test cases for automation using Python APIs per ASPICE. Use knowledge of plant model creation, electronic IO, RTICANMM block sets, and experiment creation. Calibrate software logic using Simulink algorithms in engineering applications using RLDA, engine and chassis dynamometers. Set emissions strategy for Ammonia feed forward and storage control. Deploy CAN protocols using Vector CANalyzer and BusMaster; CCP strategies using ATI Vision and INCA for system validation. Maintain platform defined calibration libraries for production and development vehicle programs. Support development of 1-D vehicle system modelling of engine and its related thermal and emissions aftertreatment systems. Execute test plans to optimize thermal and aftertreatment system performance, critically analyze data, and present technical information to support calibration, hardware selection, and controls development decisions. Handle vehicle harness builds, wiring diagrams, embedded controller flashing, booting and related activities using CAN protocol, sensor deployment and related data acquisition for system validation, including but not limited to thermocouples, load cells, accelerometers, pressure sensors etc. Support product (PLM) and algorithm (ALM) lifecycle management using industry standard tools, including SAP, ERP and Code Beamer.
