For our plant in Gliwice we are looking for Process Engineer/ Traceability System Super-User 

 

Job Description
 

Automotive customers traceability requirements are growing that leads to the development, industrialization and implementation of traceability solutions in our manufacturing plants. This role is a plant role, to secure maximum uptime of the implemented traceability solution and acts as a liaison between the global/regional MET organization.
For the first 6 months in this role, it is around 50% FTE (Full Time Equivalent) and then it drops to 10-20%. A process engineer or quality engineer with affinity to IT, good teacher skills and well-structured in his/her work can do this job

 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Traceability application configuration (InTouch)
  • Traceability system diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Manage adding and configuring new machines to the system
  • Manage the list of parameters for machines according to global standards
  • Traceability system support (updates, availability, maintenance)
  • Manage change requests coming from end-users and global operations
  • Implement and apply global traceability governance structure
  • Training of end-users
  • User management (from end users to governance and governance to end users)
  • Manage Power BI reports maintenance and adding standardized reports for new machines
  • Manage system issue tracker file (designating responsibilities for issues, follow up)

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Technical background in:
    • PLC based control systems (preferably Siemens)
    • SQL data bases
    • Industrial networks
  • Teamwork: shares all useful or important information with others. Integrates ideas of others in the own proposals
  • Problem Solving: is able to determine the source of the problem and find effective solution
  • Initiative & pro-activity: signalizes problems and formulates proposals in order to improve or solve existing situations
