This is a great opportunity to join us as a Customer Service Specialist/ Demand Planner in our office in Gliwice. In this role, you will be responsible for building long-lasting business relationships with our leading clients from the automotive industry through daily communication in English and German.

 

 

In this role you will:

  • Analyze historical data to continuously improve forecast accuracy (past sales, trends, seasonality),
  • Communicate changes in the demand plan to management & Supply Control Department,
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering on best practices, working methods, supply chain optimization,
  • Communicate with customers in English and German,
  • Analyze customer orders and further process them,
  • Solving day–to–day issues with customers,
  • Create and maintain correct sales data in the system (SAP),
  • Create sales and shipping documentation,
  • Manage and coordinate customers’ transport and packaging,
  • Active cooperation with the New Launch team with new projects(send parts outside of the system, manage customer portals – orders, deliveries, and others. Creating material master, scheduling agreements, giving input to IT team for EDI connection, etc.),
  • Cooperate with other departments (Finance, warehouse, quality, new launch, etc.),
  • Cooperate with custom agencies with export documents,
  • Intracommunity sales of goods,
  • Monitor and keep a high level of customer scorecards,
  • Monitor and keep shipping costs (premium freights, packaging) on the optimal level.

 

 

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related,
  • At least 1-2 years of related experience within the supply chain (Material Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, etc.),
  • SAP (or the other ERP system) knowledge,
  • MS Office knowledge,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Good command of German,
  • Strong customer orientation,
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills,
  • Ability to work under time pressure,
  • Team-oriented attitude.
