This is a great opportunity to join us as a Customer Service Specialist/ Demand Planner in our office in Gliwice. In this role, you will be responsible for building long-lasting business relationships with our leading clients from the automotive industry through daily communication in English and German.
In this role you will:
- Analyze historical data to continuously improve forecast accuracy (past sales, trends, seasonality),
- Communicate changes in the demand plan to management & Supply Control Department,
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering on best practices, working methods, supply chain optimization,
- Communicate with customers in English and German,
- Analyze customer orders and further process them,
- Solving day–to–day issues with customers,
- Create and maintain correct sales data in the system (SAP),
- Create sales and shipping documentation,
- Manage and coordinate customers’ transport and packaging,
- Active cooperation with the New Launch team with new projects(send parts outside of the system, manage customer portals – orders, deliveries, and others. Creating material master, scheduling agreements, giving input to IT team for EDI connection, etc.),
- Cooperate with other departments (Finance, warehouse, quality, new launch, etc.),
- Cooperate with custom agencies with export documents,
- Intracommunity sales of goods,
- Monitor and keep a high level of customer scorecards,
- Monitor and keep shipping costs (premium freights, packaging) on the optimal level.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related,
- At least 1-2 years of related experience within the supply chain (Material Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service, etc.),
- SAP (or the other ERP system) knowledge,
- MS Office knowledge,
- Fluent in English,
- Good command of German,
- Strong customer orientation,
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills,
- Ability to work under time pressure,
- Team-oriented attitude.
