Application Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating with the R&D team in design and project management

• Developing and implementing new technological solutions in line with customer requirements

• Conducting application analyses and creating technical product specifications

• Performing product tests and validation, monitoring results, and recommending improvements

• Cooperating with other departments (including production, CAD/CAE, engineering) to ensure high quality and timely project execution

• Participating in the development of new technologies and adapting products to market requirements

• Reporting research and test results, preparing technical documentation

• Cooperating and negotiating with customers and Tenneco branches

What will make you successful

• Experience working in an R&D department or in technical applications (minimum 2 years)

• Higher engineering education, preferred fields: mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, automation, or related

• Very good command of English

• German skills are an advantage

• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and ability to work with engineering systems

• Knowledge of product testing and validation processes

• Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems

• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and strong work organization
