For our location in Glinde we are looking for a

 

Data Engineer (m/w/d)

 

As a Data Engineer in our new Engineering Data & Analytics team, you will support the creation and optimization of our data pipelines and infrastructure, facilitating the efficient analysis and accessibility of manufacturing and testing data. This role is crucial for the success of our data-driven transformation initiatives.

 

Success depends on challenges – these are your tasks

  • Design and manage robust data pipelines that collect, process, and distribute complex IoT-data across the organization.

  • Work collaboratively with data scientists and other stakeholders to support the development and deployment of data models and dashboards.

  • Assist in migrating and managing large datasets in cloud environments, ensuring data quality and accessibility.

  • Optimize data workflows through automation, potentially utilizing technologies like S7 and OPC UA for real-time data collection and processing.

  • Maintain and enhance the data architecture to support advanced analytics and machine learning applications.

  • Contribute to the continuous evaluation and scalability of the data infrastructure.

 

Success depends on ability – This is your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.

  • AWS Datascience and ML experience would be advantageous: AWS Sagemaker, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Kinesis, Quicksight, EventBridge, S3, IAM, EMR, Timestream

  • Skilled in SQL and Python, with a good grasp of data integration and ETL processes.

  • Familiarity with industrial automation technologies such as S7 and OPC UA is a plus, aiding in the integration and automation of data from manufacturing equipment.

  • Familiarity with Devops practices. CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Keen interest in IIoT and digital transformation within the industrial sector.
