Accounts Payable Team Leader

Looking for a challenging position in Finance? We have just the opportunity for you as an Accounts Payable Team Leader.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly accounts payable management / performance reports and follow-up with team

  • Ensuring smooth daily operations by proper allocation of resources

  • Monitor KPIs and team performance

  • Improve and standardize processes within the area of responsibility

  • Provide technical and process guidance and support to the team members as required

  • Supervise Accounts Payable Team and ensure all Accounts Payable activities (posting of invoices, GRIR, OI reports, etc.) are performed accurately and on a timely basis

  • Facilitating team meetings to ensure information sharing and communication flow

  • Supporting team in escalation and nonstandard issues

  • Processing urgent AP requests, working on escalations

  • Working closely with Global AP Manager to ensure that all the tasks are performed on time

  • Process overview follow up meetings with locations

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls

  • Performance Year Assessments, providing feedback, and developing team members

  • Providing training and onboarding for new team members

 

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in similar AP Role

  • Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable processes

  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 20 accountants

  • Analytical skills

  • Strong excel navigation

  • Good command in English, 2nd language is a strong asset

  • Ability to see the full scope of work

  • Pro-active approach

  • Ability to build trustworthy relations with the team members and locations

  • Stress-released approach towards dynamic changes and critical issues
