Senior SCM Operations Supervisor (m/w/d)

Tasks:

• You will be responsible for ensuring optimal delivery capability, for the logistics strategy and for the continuous process optimization. Of course, you will take our corporate goals into account
• In addition, you will be responsible for both logistical control and inventory management for the respective plants
• Ensuring compliance with EHS, sustainability, and internal compliance standards
• You have the responsibility of your Cost Center Responsibility/Budget Responsibility
• You are responsible for the Annual Inventory (not cc)
• Ensure all physical movement in the plant: receiving, internal flow, shipping) and optimize daily the cost. Same for packaging Materials / empty’s
• Be responsible of logistic equipment tracking for the full plant
• Improve daily the organization, including standard models of organizations to reach the bet cost depending on the customer demand and the plant organization’s strategy
• You will manage the assurance of on-time procurement, including active risk management
• The punctual supply of our internal and external customers (especially in bottleneck situations) is one of your tasks
• Leading and continuously developing your employees is also an important part of the job
• Introduce new tools (IA…) and standards methods.
• Implement P3 TENNECO methodology
• Standardize job, develop polyvalence and adapt workforces to the business level and the group expectations
• Insure all legal Tax requisitions
• Work with Continuous improvement team to improve productivity and costs.
• Report to plant manager

Qualifications:

• You have a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in supply chain management, Business administration, (industrial) engineering, completed vocational training with relevant, many years of professional experience or a comparable qualification
• You have  several years of experience in operational logistics as well as in the following key areas:
• Warehouse and distribution logistics
• Material flow / production logistics
• Transport and shipping management
• You have a high level of technical understanding (e.g. in production processes and in reading technical drawings)
• You have very good MS Office skills and are familiar with the use of SAP (modules MM, PP, SD, WM)
• You are characterized by your strong communication skills, your ability to work under pressure and your high flexibility
• You are characterized by your commitment and personal responsibility
• Your analytical-strategic competence as well as your structured way of working round off your profile
