Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager with extensive experience in manufacturing environments and a strong background in machinery-related risk evaluation and compliance. The ideal candidate holds RSPP qualification and has proven expertise in the assessment, mitigation, and management of machinery risks, including conformity with applicable directives, standards, and safeguarding requirements.
The EHS Manager will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance, and leading risk reduction initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs within a multinational manufacturing environment.

Promote and sustain a strong safety culture through proactive leadership and engagement at all organizational levels.

Perform in-depth analysis, evaluation, and mitigation of machinery-related risks, ensuring compliance with relevant directives, standards, and legal requirements.

Define and implement effective technical and organizational control measures to reduce risk exposure.

Ensure full compliance with local legislation and corporate EHS requirements.

Conduct internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Design and deliver EHS training programs tailored to operational and managerial audiences.

Act as a key point of contact for authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders on EHS-related matters.
Professional Requirements

Technical diploma or degree with 10+ years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety roles within a manufacturing environment.

Mandatory RSPP qualification (ATECO 4).

Strong expertise in machinery safety, including risk assessment, safeguarding, and conformity evaluation.

Excellent knowledge of Italian health and safety legislation (Legislative Decree 81/2008) and environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 152/2006).

In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, including system maintenance and audit readiness.

Fluency in English with strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
