ROLE PURPOSE:
The Senior HR Generalist supports the Plant HR Manager and is responsible for activities related to time and attendance management, payroll coordination and personnel administration, compliance with mandatory obligations, HR KPI reporting, and managing contractual aspects with temporary staffing agencies. The role ensures overall accuracy of employee-related data and compliance with required process timelines. The following responsibilities complete and integrate the contractual job classification associated with the assigned level.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS:
•Contribute to managing internal communication and employee relations on various employment-related matters (employee help desk, clarification requests, employee statements, etc.).
•Monitor and coordinate activities related to time and attendance management (daily clocking data collection, anomaly checks and resolution, vacation and paid leave, wage support schemes, sick leave, injuries, strikes, union leave, parental leave, maternity, etc.).
•Create, manage, and maintain employee master data in various HR information systems, including SAP.
•Monitor and coordinate activities related to payroll management (union dues, wage garnishments, monthly cash-out forecasts for accounting, monthly vacation/cost reconciliation for Finance, monthly forecast of HR Department expenses).
•Support the management of temporary workers, including handling training and safety documentation and monthly presence/absence reports for vendor invoicing.
•Coordinate personnel administration activities by supporting the Plant HR Manager (hirings, contract changes, terminations, etc.).
•Support the HR Manager in managing HR KPIs and reporting (absenteeism, turnover, HR Metrics, 10Stream) and in organizational and industrial relations matters.
•Manage personal data processing in compliance with GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679, based on the responsibilities of the role.
•Implement and apply all necessary measures to ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations, in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma and/or university degree (preferred) in Law, Economics, Humanities; master’s degree in human resources management (preferred).
•4–6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive sector and in well-structured organizations.
•Knowledge of personnel administration processes and of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metalworking Industry (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).
•Knowledge of GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
