Responsabilities
- Continuously monitor Value Stream performance by supervising Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and promptly addressing deviations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
- Ensure the proper operation and reliability of production equipment through the management of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage the Value Stream from operational, technical, and financial perspectives, including resource planning, cost control, inventory management, and performance monitoring.
- Lead and coordinate Production, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure continuous training and on-the-job coaching to develop the skills and competencies required to achieve operational excellence.
- Proactively identify and resolve production, maintenance, and engineering issues by designing and implementing solutions aimed at maximizing efficiency and process effectiveness.
- Define and implement the Value Stream continuous improvement strategy, ensuring the achievement of operational excellence objectives.
- Coordinate and promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including Kaizen workshops, 5S, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping activities.
- Manage improvement and capital investment projects, monitoring progress, results, and expected returns.
- Analyze and improve production and material flows, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Define production priorities by allocating resources and scheduling activities according to customer requirements and operational needs.
- Manage shift schedules, vacation planning, and workforce allocation to ensure adequate operational coverage.
- Manage the Value Stream budget and related administrative activities, monitoring costs, investments, and financial performance.
- Interface with external suppliers to ensure the timely availability of materials, services, and technical support required for production and maintenance activities.
- Actively collaborate with the Plant Manager and other business functions to achieve plant objectives and support continuous organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company procedures, promoting a strong safety culture and employee involvement.
Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of maintenance principles and industrial production systems
- Experience in KPI definition, monitoring, and performance analysis
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant specialization.
