The Health and Safety Specialist (ASPP) supports the implementation of preventive and protective measures aimed at safeguarding workers’ health and safety, working in collaboration with the RSPP (Head of the Prevention and Protection Service).

 

Key responsibilities:

Support the RSPP/EHS Manager in the following core activities:

• Identification and assessment of risk factors

• Development of preventive and protective measures derived from risk assessments included in the Risk Assessment Document (DVR), including the identification of adopted PPE and the related control systems

• Drafting safety procedures for the various company activities

• Organization and management of employee training on health, safety, and environment topics

• Review and management of contractors’ documentation and permits, and drafting of the Interference Risk Assessment Document (DUVRI)

• Coordination of periodic medical examinations

• Maintenance of the integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System

• Delivery of training sessions on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) topics

• Execution of operational checks and audits in the workplace to verify safety measures

• Investigation of accidents and near misses, root cause analysis, and definition of corrective/preventive actions

• Management of safety data sheets for chemicals used on site

• Monitoring and verification of compliance with legal deadlines regarding safety and environmental legislation

• Collaboration with the Occupational Physician, Workers’ Safety Representatives (RLS), and employees

 

 

What will make you successful:

• Degree in Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within structured companies.

• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental legislation (Legislative Decree 81/08 – Legislative Decree 152/06

• Certified ASPP – Ateco 4

•  Familiarity with safety and environmental management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)

• Certification as a workplace safety trainer (preferred)

• Certification as internal auditor for Health, Safety, and Environment (preferred)

• Good knowledge of English and fluent Italian

• Proficient in Windows environment and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Capacity to manage work independently

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time and priorities

• Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
