EHS Manager

• Provide advice and guidance to the management team on EHS policy. Produce procedures where required to support company policy.
• Maintain a risk management system ensuring that risk is identified and managed effectively
• Identify and evaluate applicable legal and other requirements and implement measures to ensure continued compliance.
•  Provide advice and guidance to the management team on objectives and targets to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure that systems are in place to minimize the Plant’s environmental impacts though effective monitoring and measuring in accordance with legal and other requirements.
• Design and Implement effective training systems to provide employees with sufficient information, instruction and training to enable safe working.
• Maintain an Internal assurance system to ensure that EHS systems are working effectively through a scheduled audit and inspection plan.
• Maintain a review system to ensure that the management system is being delivered as planned.
• Identify change and ensure that where EHS is affected it is managed into the business with introducing additional risk.
• Ensure that all incidents and adverse occurrences are reported, investigated and collated to identify trends, communicate lessons learned and preventative actions are implemented.
• Manage the introduction of hazardous materials into the plant and ensure that systems are implemented and maintained to ensure their safe use.
• Provide advice and guidance to the management team on emergency response including associated training and evacuation drills and coordination with external agencies.
• Maintain certification to EHS standards as required and liaise with external suppliers to schedule third party audits.

Maintain a system of monitoring and measuring to enable accurate and timely reporting of EHS data to internal and external stakeholders
