- Ensures all China’s technical services requests (TSR) are executed accurately, on-time, and meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction.
- Ensures all laboratory testing facilities in China region are properly maintained, up-to-date, and appropriate for current and anticipated testing needs.
- Ensures that all laboratory testing equipment is properly calibrated, verified, and maintained.
- Coordinates activities with Regional Tech Services Teams around the globe as appropriate to level the global workload and ensure technical service follows consistent global practice.
- Adheres to and is compliant with all local Safety and Environmental laws. Ensures TS16949/AS9100D requirements are followed for laboratory areas and systems required for general laboratory competency are in place. Anticipates and plans alternative certifications as needed.
- Establishes and monitors key metrics to drive tech services efficiency, timeliness, and quality.
- Establishes and maintains a globally standardized and accessible testing database.
- Ensures a test standards library is maintained.
- Evaluates testing methods to ensure that the methods can generate repeatable and reproducible results. In cases where they are not, develop an action plan to eliminate variables and resolve the issue(s).
- Plans and implements a raw material and product test program consistent with the needs of Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and customers.
