Job Summary

The process flow coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within Plex by performing regular cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.  They are also responsible for scheduling and coordinating the supply of components and/or products in order to satisfy production demand.  Insures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained. 

 

Responsibilities: Performs job duties within their assigned team as outlined below.

Ensures timely completion of floor cycle counts. Assists in line quality audits. Maintains floor inventory accuracy.  Uses excellent computer skills to maintain PLEX inventory and physical inventory balances.  Assists production scheduling to ensure that manufacturing is acutely aware of existing requirements.  Completes cycle counts as assigned.  Completes assigned quality checks.  Completes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Performs safety audits, completes 5S activities, may be assigned to layered audits.

 

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within Plex by performing regular cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting production and customer delivery requirements, and meeting corporate compliance standards. The Cycle Counter investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes, and partners with other departments to resolve issues while maintaining timely and accurate system transactions.

 

•                Performs scheduled cycle counts of components, WIP, and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy in Plex.

•                Records and logs cycle count results daily in Plex and or other data entry methods such as MS Excel to maintain compliance with corporate requirements.

•                Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies by identifying root causes and communicating findings to the department manager and team leader.

•                Processes inventory adjustments promptly to maintain accurate balances in the system.

•                Assists with physical inventory counts and activities as required.

•                Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and scales safely to move, weigh, and count materials.

•                Utilizes computer systems (Plex and other tools) to enter, reconcile, and analyze inventory data.

•                Collaborates with production, shipping/receiving, and purchasing to support accurate material flow and resolve inventory issues.

•                Maintains an organized, efficient approach to cycle counting tasks to ensure completion within established schedules.

•                Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and material control.

•                Completes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. 

Computer experience; 2 years of clerical experience with solid knowledge of inventory systems, PLEX fluency and preferably the Company’s part numbering system and Microsoft Excel

Final RATE OF PAY (after training / upgrade periods): 


 $24.64
