Position Summary

The Autolines Operator is responsible for safely operating automated production equipment and assembly lines to manufacture quality products while meeting production, safety, and efficiency standards. The operator performs machine operation, inspection, material handling, basic troubleshooting, and quality checks to support continuous manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate assigned automated production equipment and assembly line machinery in accordance with standardized work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections and verify product specifications to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Load raw materials and components into production equipment and remove finished products from the line.
• Monitor machine performance and identify equipment abnormalities, defects, or safety concerns.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment issues to maintenance or supervision as required.
• Complete required production, quality, and downtime documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support 5S initiatives within the work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and personal protective equipment requirements applicable to the assignment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other departments to achieve operational goals.
• Work overtime, weekends, and alternative schedules as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions.
• Required personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas.
