We are looking for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for implementing control equipment improvements on the floor and may be responsible for entire project from design through installation, or a portion of the project. They are also responsible for assisting in day-to-day machine and tooling problem resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promotes continuous improvement in environmental and safety issues by ensuring that equipment is designed, modified or repaired to maintain and improve safety and environmental performance.
  • Reacts immediately to safety issues as they arise.
  • Follows all environmental and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with project leaders to determine electrical requirements of projects.
  • Identifies the technical training needs of the electrical group and assists in the development of training programs.
  • Assists in layout plans for area improvements.
  • Utilizes design and electrical skills to help improve performance of the process.
  • Documents control improvements through print changes and procedure changes.
  • Trains electricians affected by control changes.
  • Provides necessary technical support for plant safety.
  • Implements electrical systems for new equipment, upgrades and facility.
  • Supports as required for daily operations.
  • Maintains awareness of new control equipment for availability and potential applications

 

EDUCATION: Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology preferred.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 4 years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
  • AutoCAD TM
  • PLC Programming
  • Basic Servo Controls
