We are looking for an Accountant. The Accountant is responsible for directing and coordinating accurate reporting for all inventory, scrap, and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promotes safety and environment by complying with all safety & environmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains accurate standard cost rates, tracking new parts added to the system.
  • Analyzes, monitors, and adjusts monthly inventory transactions and monthly inventory reporting.  Performs monthly physical inventory on raw material and work in process.
  • Audits, balances and posts monthly labor, steel, scrap, and cost price accounts and travel expenses.
  • Reviews, reconciles, and corrects monthly inter-company transactions (payables and receivables).
  • Audits, reconciles, and records monthly spending for capital and expense projects.
  • Analyzes, reconciles, and adjusts miscellaneous shippers.
  • Conducts, audits, reconciles, and posts annual physical inventory.
  • Develops monthly sales and earnings forecast.
  • Tracks, records, and posts international projects.
  • Prepares year-end schedules.
  • Prepares month-end reports - report card, critical statistics, and pieces shipped.
  • Prepares daily report for managers.  Prepares weekly and monthly inventory report and plant performance reports.

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Three years of Accounting experience.
  • Computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
