ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Plant Controller (Plant Finance Leader) is responsible for the plant's overall financial management, including cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This strategic role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly MIS, Budgeting, Costing, Forecasting, Month End Closing Activities, Capex and Variance Analysis.
- Statutory Compliance like Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and SOX.
- Monitoring of day-to-day activities related with Financial Accounting and Internal Controls.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Mentor and lead a team of financial personnel in the performance of their duties.
- Month End Closing with Proper explanations of Variances and Month End Financial Schedules Review.
- Budgeting & Forecasting, Weekly P&L Flash, FCST updates and Strategy Planning.
- Inventory Accounting (Provisions and write-off) and Asset Accountings and Capital Spent Analysis.
- Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion/One Stream Reporting, MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel)
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Accounting Standards, Direct and Indirect Taxes, Monthly MIS, UGAAP and IGAAP Reporting, Variance Analysis Skill, Internal Controls and All type of Financial Audits.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to create and maintain productive work relationships. Ability to manage multiple initiative concurrently.
- Strong understanding of professional control and audit frameworks and standard.
- Must possess excellent judgment, organizational and prioritization skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication, and analytics skill, including presentation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with auditees and their leaders, including external auditors and consultants
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: |
Chartered Accountant - Must, Complimented ICWA/MBA
|

EXPERIENCE: |
Minimum of 12-15 years in a similar role of a manufacturing entity and / or experience in a reputed consulting firm leading client engagements within the Manufacturing space. Experience specifically in the auto / ancillary entity will be an added advantage. Plus, working experience of with global stakeholders and Senior Management is a must. |
