DIMENSION / SCOPE OF THE JOB:   The Mechanical Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all mechanical maintenance activities within the facility to ensure the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of all plant machinery and equipment. This role involves managing a team of maintenance professionals, developing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Daily review of maintenance activity with maintenance team for repeated issue
• Plan and oversee routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Review of MTTR and MTBF of plant machinery
• Reduction in oil (Hydraulic) consumption in machines.
• Performance review of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Lead, manage, and supervise the mechanical maintenance team, including mechanics and technicians.
• To ensure imported spare parts availability.
• To control wastage of electrical energy
• To control resources (Water in utility, compressed air)
• Implementation of new technology developments.
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure the availability of spare parts and supplies.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies or methods to improve maintenance efficiency.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Kaizen implementation and review.
