Role & Responsibility :
- Coordination with the Customer / Sales Team to get the Customer Schedule and forecast for the planning period (1 month Firm and 4 months Forecast planning).
- Coordination with the production team to ensure availability of material for the customer dispatches as per schedule.
- Ensuring proper billing and documentation for all dispatches to the customer as per their schedule.
- Managing customer end inventory and customer line feeding.
- Will be responsible for ensuring proper planning for material availability based on the customer schedules for the BOM as well as consumable material.
- Coordination with the Local as well as the import vendors (Both inter and Intra Company) vendors for release of the schedule / PO’s and ensuring timely delivery.
- Will be responsible for achieving and maintaining a correct level of inventory in the plant.
- Ensuring proper management of the Gate entry and receipts entry procedure.
- Designing and implementing systems (Kanban, consumption based planning etc.) for ensuring inventory control and material availability.
- Ensuring proper material controls including FIFO.
- Building and maintaining a proper reporting system for all related KPI’s as well as management reporting requirement.
