ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven finance professional to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance activities. This role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, while supporting quarterly reviews and annual statutory audits. The position ensures adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies, and actively contributes to internal and external audit processes. The role involves identifying financial and operational risks and recommending control improvements to strengthen governance. Key responsibilities include fixed asset accounting, maintenance of the fixed asset register, capex tracking, CWIP review and capitalization, and asset tagging and verification. Additionally, the role oversees accounts payable activities, including past due reviews, IR/GR closure, and strengthening vendor payment and reconciliation processes. The position also provides critical financial and MIS support to plant operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to aid decision-making and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement (Ind As).
- Assist in quarterly audit and annual statutory audit.
- Internal Control & compliance: Ensure compliance with company policy, SOX and Internal control, Assist in Internal and External Audits.
- Identify risk and recommend control Improvement.
- FA accounting: Maintenance of Fixed Asset register, Capex tracking against approvals.
- CWIP review and capitalization, Assets Tagging and Verification.
- Account payable management: Supervise Account payable activity.
- AP past due review & closure: IR/GR review & closure.
- Strengthen vendor payment and reconciliation.
- Operation Support: Support to plant operation team in providing timely plant MIS
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required
- CA- Inter, MBA or CFA preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance in a Manufacturing environment.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior executives, peers, junior members and external partners
- Adept at identifying priorities, taking initiative and ownership
- Highly organized, hands-on and detail oriented
- Ability to recognize improvement opportunities and execute
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
