Vehicle Electrical System & Hardware Engineer

•    Masters his technical field and stays up-to-date of any new developments and their applications in the automotive industry, by having close contacts with the suppliers and external institutes, by attending seminars and by reading technical literature.
•    Acts for most of the projects as an individual contributor in cooperation with the Electronic Controls Systems team in Belgium.
In his projects he will:
    Ensure compliance with program management requirements, quality requirements and all applicable EHS standards/regulations. 
    Integrate customer-specific technical specifications into product/ process system designs.
    Identify potential product liability issues and take appropriate action.
    Support development of new suppliers and validate their products.
•    Assures compliance with the required project timing using the appropriate tools (project plan, reporting, work planning …), reports his results on a regular base and takes the necessary actions towards his supervisor when roadblocks occur in his projects.
