R&D Controller

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an engineering center finance role directly reporting to China Finance Director. This position plays as a finance partner to support day-to-day operation of Engineering center, as well as to build an important communication bridge between China local and global central finance team for strategic planning, rolling forecast, project margin analysis, management reporting and statutory reporting. In the meantime, this role participates daily JV communication and management.

• Deeply participate project management including BC analysis, program gate validation, cost control and recoveries’ on-time billing and collection;
• Support the leader of Engineering center to drive operation excellence and cost synergies, and achieve yearly financial target;
• Establish standard reporting for both P&L and cashflow and identify R&O in timely manner;
• Lead 5 yrs strategic planning and budget process at Engineering center, provide strong support in deploying global strategies in China local market, good articulation in numbers;
• Optimize existing control process and reinforce automation;
• Enhance governance and compliance to ensure transparent and healthy financial statements;
• Participate JV management;
• Develop team and coach young talent.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• At least 10 years working experience in reputable MNCs, thereof 3-5 years hands-on experience in FP&A and controlling area;
• Rich experience in finance BP and plant controlling and willing to drive continuous improvement and lead changes;
• Self-motivated and performance driven;
• Excellent intercultural communication skill, and good team player.
