Job Responsibilities:


1. Be responsible for the structural design, parameter calculation and selection of key components such as fluid control valves to ensure that product performance meets Tenneco's internal standards and customer requirements.
2. Collaborate with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and other simulation teams to simulate and analyze the internal flow field of valves, evaluate performance indicators such as flow characteristics, pressure loss, durability and noise under different design schemes, and optimize the design based on the analysis results to improve product efficiency and stability.
3. Conduct performance tests on developed valves, including flow characteristics, pressure resistance, flow regulation and sealing performance tests, analyze test data, solve problems that arise during testing, and continuously improve product performance.
4. Participate in fluid control valve-related projects, closely collaborate with sales, process, production and testing departments, assist in formulating product technical solutions, and answer customer technical questions.
5. Be responsible for the research and development application of new technologies for fluid control valves. Based on product planning and the development trend of fluid control technology in the industry, formulate a new technology development plan for fluid systems to enhance the technical and performance reliability of hydraulic systems.
6. Analyze the root causes of fluid control-related technical problems based on customer and internal feedback, accurately formulate solutions, and promptly solve problems through structural design optimization and effective verification.
7. According to the annual innovation plan and VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) goals, be responsible for initiating innovation and VAVE projects, designing and implementing innovations, solidifying and promoting them, completing innovation applications, and promoting product technological progress and cost optimization.
8. Be responsible for writing technical documents related to the design, testing and summary of fluid control valves.

 

Qualifications:


1. Professional background: Master's degree or above in fluid mechanics, power engineering, hydraulics, energy and power engineering, or related fields.
2. Work experience: More than 5 years of experience in the design and development of fluid control hydraulic valve components, familiar with the working principles and design points of various valve components; or researchers or recent graduates (master's or doctoral) who have been engaged in fluid control hydraulic research.
3. Skill requirements: Familiar with the properties and processing techniques of metal materials, proficient in using mechanical design software such as Catia, familiar with CFD simulation software, capable of conducting fluid analysis and optimization, and those with simulation project experience are preferred.
4. Quality and ability: Possess good learning ability, innovation and problem-solving skills, and be able to independently think and solve complex technical problems.
5. Language proficiency: Proficient in English and able to use it as a working language.
