Purchasing Financial Controller

We’re looking for a Purchasing Financial Controller to drive cost efficiency, ensure compliance, and strengthen our supply chain performance at Business Unit level. This is a high-impact role working closely with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Corporate Purchasing teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures

  • Support purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives (cost reduction, quality improvement, supplier diversification)

  • Perform market and pricing analysis to identify trends and new supplier opportunities

  • Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure spend stays within approved limits

  • Partner with Finance to forecast procurement needs and align with financial planning

  • Prepare monthly forecasts of purchasing savings, aligned with plant actuals and P&L

  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements

  • Lead compliance activities within the Purchasing & Supply Chain function

  • Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks, including supplier dependency and market volatility

  • Track and monitor suppliers’ financial stability

  • Act as approver for payment term changes, assessing cash-flow impact

  • Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and performance gaps

  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, supplier KPIs, and cost analysis

  • Provide clear, actionable insights to senior management

What Will Make You Succesful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management

  • Strong knowledge of procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, ERP systems)
