DIMENSION / SCOPE OF THE JOB: To lead Manufacturing Activities in each production line to meet customer expectations with utmost Safe Working Culture, Zero Defect Strategy and Improved Productivity & OAE. To ensure Flawless, On time product delivery to all OE, OEMs & aftermarket Customers. Leading lean initiatives in shop floor to improve on overall plant performance as per Global Standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drives the development of Operations strategies & align with global operations strategies
- Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures.
- Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
- Capability enhancement of team thru training and learning initiatives, performance management & talent management.
- Address issues and resolve problems where analysis of the situation or data requires an in-depth knowledge of end goals and objectives for the department or area managed.
- Provide input and ideas for improvement to internal processes to streamline work, improve quality and reduce the likelihood of errors and problems.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of employees or lead the functional area and collaborate with others inside and outside the company.
- Accountable for setting a department budget and making sure it is adhered to.
