Location: Bad Camberg (near Frankfurt) or Glinde (east of Hamburg), Germany
Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager CV will be responsible for managing and developing the CV business . Reporting directly to the CV Sales Director, the KAM will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer contact , managing all commercial and strategic activities.
- Lead customer negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and business agreements, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Coordinate with Customers to align project execution, customer support, and timelines.
- Develop and implement account strategies to expand business opportunities and reinforce long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal functions (engineering, operations, program management, quality, finance) to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to the Sales Director Europe.
- Promote initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen Tenneco’s positioning as a strategic partner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Solid knowledge of OEM automotive customer structures and processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Based in Bad Camberg (Frankfurt) or Glinde (Hamburg) with willingness to travel across Europe.
