RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties of the Team Leader consist of his/her regular assigned duties in addition to the following:

 

  • Supervise and motivate team members to achieve daily production targets and quality standards
  • Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust resources as needed to meet schedules
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance skills and performance
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Track and report on production metrics, quality, and attendance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
  • Foster open communication, constructive feedback, and a positive team environment
  • Assign team members to machinery based on training matrix and skill classification
  • Establish communication with maintenance/tool makers for downtime events on machinery or tooling, generate work orders with detailed information of problem.
  • Assist in changeovers, troubleshooting of equipment
  • Cover lunch/breaks for critical equipment, fill in as needed for operators
  • Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor

 

EDUCATION:

 

High school diploma or G.E.D. and at least 6 months experience 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
