Job function and sub function:

Position summary: LSCM Procurement (Hourly)

Reports to (role): Sandeep Patil

Team size (Direct and total): 1

Works closely with: Production & LSCM

Location: Pune

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible as a buyer for Child Parts and bought-out Parts, consisting of procurement of components including Mufflers, flanges, shells, Gaskets, Mixer, Cones, heat shields, hangers, exhaust pipe etc.
• Responsible for timely parts' availability per defined norms within stipulated lead time. Analyzing daily/weekly shortages and planning action accordingly
• Handling in-house raw material in the form of pipes and sheet
• Managed vendors and suppliers to meet cost, delivery performance, and schedule objectives.
• Supervising overall activities of inward receipt, QA issues, storage issues & record-keeping for all materials
• Worked with departments to find new and better items to fulfill diverse needs.
• Disposal of non-moving in-house raw materials to suppliers.
• Arrangement of freight forwarders efficiently and reporting freight cast to finance to ensure sustainability.
• Supervising overall activities of inward receipt, QA issues, storage issues & record-keeping for all materials
• Ideal candidate experience: 7 years +

Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

• Good knowledge in SAP
• Good exposure to deal with supplier
• Good knowledge inventory analysis

Qualifications/ certifications:

•  Graduate / Diploma / MBA
