Cluster Supply Chain Leader Brazil – Snr Mgr
At Tenneco, we’re on a mission. Guided by our Core Values and a winning mindset, we are committed to becoming the most trusted partner, manufacturer, and distributor in the transportation industry. What drives us? Our people are passionate changemakers who bring energy, dedication, and innovation to everything they do.
In this role, you will be the cluster-level deployment leader and P3 Specialist for P3 Integrated Supply Chain. You will drive plant certification by enabling Plant Supply Chain Leaders and pillar owners to stabilize critical execution, standardize the operating model, simplify processes and systems, and certify sites against P3 maturity requirements. You will not replace plant ownership. You will build the capability, governance, methods, standards, and accountability that allow every plant role to succeed, achieve certification, and sustain compliance. Your scope connects Demand Planning / Outbound Demand, Supply Planning / Inbound Planning, Material Handling / Internal Flow, Transportation and Logistics, ERP and Inventory Integrity, Lean and Continuous Improvement, and the Plant Supply Chain Leader.
About The Role
Summary
We are looking for a P3 Integrated Supply Chain Deployment Leader to drive the deployment, maturity, and certification of the P3 Integrated Supply Chain operating model across multiple manufacturing sites.
This role will partner closely with plant and regional leadership to stabilize operations, standardize critical supply chain processes, simplify ways of working, and build sustainable capabilities at plant level.
The successful candidate will bring strong end to end supply chain expertise, Lean thinking, operational excellence, and change leadership skills, with the ability to translate standards into practical plant roadmaps and measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the deployment of the P3 Integrated Supply Chain model across multiple manufacturing plants, translating maturity standards into practical roadmaps, milestones, ownership, and certification plans.
• Drive the Stabilize, Standardize, Simplify and Certify journey, ensuring plants build sustainable processes before progressing through maturity levels.
• Strengthen end to end supply chain performance across demand planning, production scheduling, supply planning, inventory, material flow, logistics, transportation, ERP and customer delivery.
• Establish effective plant governance, including RASCI, tier management, S&OE routines, KPI reviews, escalation processes, Leader Standard Work and action tracking.
• Deploy and improve Lean supply chain practices such as PFEP, pull systems, Kanban, supermarkets, value stream mapping, standard work, Gemba management, Kaizen and structured problem solving.
• Improve ERP and inventory integrity, strengthening master data ownership, MRP execution, transaction discipline, cycle counting and inventory accuracy while reducing reliance on manual or shadow systems.
• Coach Plant Supply Chain Leaders and functional owners, building local capability and ensuring plants can sustain improvements independently.
• Lead plant maturity assessments, evidence validation, pre assessments and certification readiness, maintaining a clear pipeline toward Bronze, Silver and Gold certification.
• Identify, document and replicate best practices across plants, working closely with regional and global P3 teams.
• Track business impact through improvements in customer delivery, supplier performance, inventory, schedule attainment, premium freight, operational flow and overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience in end to end supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment, including planning, scheduling, inventory, logistics, material flow, ERP, supplier performance and customer delivery.
• Proven experience leading multi site transformation or operating system deployment across manufacturing operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of Lean Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement, including VSM, pull systems, Kanban, standard work, Kaizen, A3/PPS and Leader Standard Work.
• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems, master data, inventory management, Excel, BI, analytics and process mapping.
• Lean Six Sigma expertise preferred, with Green Belt or Black Belt certification considered an advantage. APICS CPIM, CSCP or equivalent supply chain certification is also a plus.
• Demonstrated capability in change management, coaching, facilitation and cross functional leadership within a matrix organization.
• Strong project and program management skills, including management of roadmaps, milestones, risks, resources, savings and performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence plant, regional and functional leadership.
• Fluent English required. Additional languages relevant to the assigned region are an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% to 75% across the assigned cluster and work directly with manufacturing teams at the Gemba.
